The best moments of a live stream, turned into clips
CForge finds the best moments in the live streams of creators who allow it, edits them into vertical clips and publishes them, at the chosen time, on the channel of whoever authorizes it.
How it works
- Permission first. CForge only works with content from creators who gave their permission, and keeps a record of it. A creator can withdraw it at any time, and whatever was waiting to be published is cancelled.
- It finds the moments. It listens to the stream's audio and looks at chat activity and at viewers' clips to suggest candidates. From chat it only counts messages: it does not keep who wrote or what they said.
- A person decides. Every candidate is reviewed and approved before it is published.
- It edits and publishes. The clip comes out vertical, with subtitles and the credit the creator asks for, and is published through the platform's official API.
CForge and YouTube
CForge uses YouTube API Services to upload videos to the channel its owner connects. It asks for two permissions: uploading videos and viewing the channel. It cannot edit or delete what is already published.
The channel's owner writes each video's title and description and chooses who may see it, and can disconnect the channel at any time, from CForge or from the permissions page of their Google Account. What data CForge keeps, and for how long, is in its privacy policy.
